Gold Coast Medical Precinct is pleased to advise that we are an approved vaccination provider for COVID-19 vaccines as part of phase 1B. We are happy to help provide COVID-19 immunisation for our local area and wider community. Our practice is experiencing a high volume of calls about the COVID-19 vaccination program. Phase 1b is for people over 70’s, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders over 55, adults with a specified medical condition, healthcare workers and critical high-risk workers. For existing patients, we will be contacting our eligible patients when it is timely, about booking an appointment. If you are not a current patient, please ensure you have first checked your eligibility through the Vaccine Eligibility Checker at covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/ or by calling the National Coronavirus and COVID-19. Please do not come to your vaccination appointment:

  • if you are feeling unwell with fever, cough, runny nose or other symptoms that could be from COVID-19
  • if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19
  • if you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or
  • if you are in quarantine
  • If you have had another vaccine, for example the influenza vaccination, in the 14 days before your COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Please let us know as we may need to reschedule your appointment

Thank you and stay safe.
